Application for a Syracuse Sphynx Kitten

 What an exciting journey it is to search and finally find the newest edition of your family. It is crucial, however, that we first determine if a Syracuse Sphynx Kitten is the best choice for your home. Hairless cats are not a common household pet and have specific environmental needs in order to thrive in their new home.

  1. What is your name and your age?

  2. Where is your residence located? If you’re currently renting your home can you provide written permission that pets are allowed in your home?

  3. What is your email & phone number? How do you prefer to be contacted?

  4. Do you currently own pets? Please describe them in detail.

  5. How many people currently live in your residence?

  6. Have you ever owned or been in contact with a hairless cat?

  7. Why are you interested in purchasing a hairless cat?

  8. Are you allergic to cats or any pets?

  9. Have you ever declawed a cat? What is your opinion on the topic?

  10. What is the average temperature of your residence?

  11. Are you willing to spay/neuter your kitten at 6 months of age?

  12. Do you have temporary assistance available should you be unable to care for your hairless cat?

  13. Does your employment keep you away from your home more than 9 hours a day? Is anyone else home while you are away during those hours?

  14. Are you able to pick up your kitten between 12-14 weeks of age in the Syracuse, New York area? If not, would you need your kitten delivered for a fee and where is your nearest major airport?

  15. As with any pet, emergency medical needs can occur at any moment. Do you have emergency funds available for vet bills potentially reaching several thousand dollars?
